5) Cancer

There are many different types of cancer, but it all stems from abnormal cells growing out of control. There are three main types: *cutaneous (skin) *gastric (stomach) *leukemia (blood) Cancers can start as benign tumors and slowly grow into malignant tumors.

6) Diabetes

Diabetes occurs when the pancreas fails to produce insulin (or the body is not responsive to it). Insulin, which controls blood sugar levels, is needed to turn sugars and starches into energy. Without insulin to break down these molecules, they accumulate in the bloodstream, high levels of glucose remain in the blood, and spills into urin. The complications that result from diabetes can be life-threatening.
